The story that launched the ethos:

Ryan Leech
Professional Mountain Biker and Coach
Ryan Leech is retired from his 25 year career as a pro mountain biker, which saw him travel the world performing thousands of stunt shows for the likes of Crankworx, Red Bull, and Cirque du Soleil. Ryan was featured in the top industry forming MTB films such as the Kranked & Collective series, and became a legend in trials scene for self produced films such as 'Manifesto’. He brought yoga to the MTB world as a teacher in 2010 through yoga-for-mtb’er classes and his ‘Ride & Reach’ retreats. He brought inspiration to youth by visiting over 200 schools with a motivational experience called ‘Trials of Life’. Ryan held one the most loyal long term sponsorship rosters in the industry with Norco, Shimano, and Marzocchi as the highlights. With a growth mentality, Ryan achieved his Integral Master Coach™ certification in 2011, which, through dedicated life practice, has helped him evolve and fine-tune his purpose on this planet. He’s the founder of RLC-MTB, an online skills coaching platform, which has taught over 50,000 students since 2015. Most recently, Ryan launched SCEND MTB, a praxis based project that helps mountain bikers discover the deep gifts riding offers beyond the measurable. Becoming a father in 2022 at the age of 43 has sharpened his resolve to inspire riders and the broader MTB culture to deepen their development towards more wholeness.
